Rapids set to take on the Fury in their home opener

The Columbus Rapids will be returning home following losses against Memphis for their home opener against the Fayetteville Fury. The matches are set to begin at 5:30 p.m. EST. The Rapids Womens's team will be the first on the pitch and then the men's match will begin following the conclusion of the women's match.

The Rapids lost both season openers against the Memphis Americans, with the Men’s team losing 6-0 and the Women’s team losing 10-2.

Following the losses, both Rapids teams brought in some new faces for their matchup with the Fury. The Rapids Men’s team signed Manny Chavez, who has experience in the NPSL and UPSL with A.S.
